At Peninsula Horticulture, our team of arborists and plant experts are dedicated to the holistic care of your trees and plants based on research and real world experience. We specialize in preventative and remedial plant healthcare, ornamental tree pruning, landscape installations and ecological services like slope and shoreline stabilization, erosion control, rain gardens, weed management, native restoration, and soil health. John Bornsworth

Owner and operator, John Bornsworth, has a decade of progressive experience in the practice and management of arboriculture, restoration ecology, vegetation management, plant pathology and mycology.

Prior to working with trees and vegetation, John was a computer programmer and database developer for close to a decade in Southern California. 



Collin is our field and herbicide manager. Before applying pesticides and performing tree hazard evaluations with Peninsula Horticulture Collin was the field supervisor at Olympic National Park controlling their weed populations. Twice a year Collin flies to Florida to continue field work as a turtle biologist.

Courtney is a trained zoologist and marine biologist. She has spent the last five years working with salmon habitat, wetland sciences and botany in Alaska and Western Washington. Prior to joining Peninsula Horticulture she was a field biologist and botanist with the Olympic National Park on the Elwha Restoration project. Courtney manages our native plant nursery and wetland projects. She is formally trained in wetland soils, wetland delineations & ratings, and public land tree risk. Courtney is certified by the US Forest Service as a Hazard Tree Assessor and working on her arborist certification.
